GeoData Technologies Pioneering 3D Virtual Realty

SANDPOINT, Idaho – September 26, 2008 - GeoData Technologies (GDT) has established itself as the leading provider of 3D collaborative software for the real estate industry.  The software, SiteSeer3D™ allows real estate professionals to provide 3D flyovers of neighborhoods and show properties virtually to their clients.  As a result, agents increase their productivity, generate more leads and lower their costs.

“SiteSeer3D™ is the first virtual realty technology that actually changes the way that real estate agents interact with their clients.  SiteSeer3D™ enables agents to show properties in their media rooms on plasma TVs and remotely using the Internet.  This is technology that builds rapport and credibility with clients,” stated Mark Williams, President of GeoData Technologies.

SiteSeer3D™ allows agents to interactively search for and analyze properties using high resolution, photo-realistic aerial imagery to simulate the perspective of flying.  Major metropolitan areas are flown annually with special-mounted cameras.  As the image is captured, it is geo-referenced or located via GPS and altimeter.

Since GDT is deploying SiteSeer3D™ a market at a time, it can acquire the latest and highest quality imagery and maintain it for the brokerage.  GDT integrates information from the Multiple Listing Service as well as local data sets such as parcel maps and schools that allow buyers to evaluate the interiors and exteriors of properties as well as the neighborhood.  GDT provides services to add new virtual developments and 3D buildings to the landscape and uses the Internet to remotely train the agents.

GDT has worked with Sirti, a Washington State economic development agency focused on accelerating the development and growth of innovative technology-based companies for the past 18 months.  As a result, GDT has recently closed a round of equity financing and will follow with a loan from Sirti’s Technology Growth Fund.  The largest investor in GeoData Technologies is Bill Conway, founding director of the Carlyle Group.  The Carlyle Group is one of the premier global private equity firms.

GDT has deployed SiteSeer3D™ in Idaho, Colorado and Wyoming and is now rolling out SiteSeer3D™ nationally including Phoenix, Seattle and Spokane.

“The Tomlinson Real Estate Group is always looking to improve our technology base while providing enhancements and services to our agents.  SiteSeer3D™ builds upon the contextual mapping that Tomlinson has done for years and provides a 3D interface for our agents and customers to see the property from many different angles.  SiteSeer3D™ will help us to better serve our customers, agents and our brands,” said Fred Meyer,
President of Tomlinson Real Estate Group

GDT has recently established a regional partnership with Tomlinson Real Estate Group to provide 3D property search and analysis to their clients and agents.  The Tomlinson Real Estate Group, headquartered in Coeur d’Alene, ID is ranked as one of the top 30 real estate franchises nationally and is the fifth largest Realogy affiliate.

GDT has also recently signed a strategic partnership with Skyline Software Systems (Skyline) that provides GDT with an exclusive license to use its 3D earth visualization software in the real estate market.   Skyline is a privately-held company headquartered in Chantilly, Virginia and retains a development office in Tel Aviv.  Skyline’s applications and services have been selected by civil government, military, intelligence and commercial clients across the globe.

GDT was founded by combining the geographic information systems expertise of Black Diamond Engineering of Sandpoint, ID with the real estate marketing expertise of Tour Real Estate Inc. of Boise, ID.
